Renault Twizy: a best-seller in Germany

Renault Twizy is the best-selling electric car in Germany this year, with 1976 units purchased between January and August.
By comparison, 3825 electric vehicles sold in France over the same period.
A majority of Twizy buyers in Germany are private individuals (around 60%), while other electric cars tend to be purchased mostly by businesses (84% to 95%). These results were issued in a study by German website Auto-motor-und-sport.de.
It should also be noted that five of the nine electric cars currently on sale on the German market are manufactured by French brands…
