Toyota Yaris Hybrid: successful results in France for 2012
According to estimates by Toyota, total sales for the Yaris Hybrid in France this year should reach approximately 10 000 units.
Indeed the brand’s sales have increased by 46% in the country this year, which means that they were twice as high as initially expected. The information was provided by Pascal Ruch, Head of Toyota France, in an interview with Technology Vehicles.
The Yaris Hybrid was launched at the Geneva Motor Show in March 2012. Equipped with a 100-horse powertrain, it has an efficiency of 80 MPG.
Several of Toyota’s hybrid cars are met with huge success in the United States, as sales between January and September 2012 have doubled compared to the same period in 2011, with a total of 248 000 units sold this year. The most popular car is the Prius, with its different variants.
